创始人的故事

Coby Ladwig,是Kings Landing君临葡萄酒的两位创始人之一,一直对葡萄酒有着浓烈的兴趣。Coby在西澳大利亚的丹麦长大,很小的时候就开始接触葡萄酒行业,并在澳大利亚柏斯的科挺大学,学习葡萄栽培和酿酒,并且在毕业之后对家乡凉爽地区的潜力,产生的热切的探索欲。在他随后的葡萄酒职业生涯里,曾在不同的酒庄工作,并获得了不少奖项。而Kings Landing君临,正是他成功的精品项目之一。

Luke Eckersley, 另一位Kings Landing君临的创始人,是一位土生土长的澳大利亚南方小伙子,在西澳长大并一直对澳洲的葡萄酒情有独钟。2002Luke在西澳科廷大学,学习了葡萄酒学和葡萄栽培,游历了欧洲和美国,并在这个过程中增长了葡萄酒的知识,对他的葡萄酒职业道路起到了重要的作用,不仅是国内还是国际上。在回到澳大利亚西部后,Luke参与了很多个精品葡萄酒项目。

CobyLuke都参与了澳大利亚大南方地区的获奖厂牌,包括“Rockcliffe”和“Rosenthal”。



CHARDONNAY 霞多丽 Mount Barker 2020

COLOUR 颜色:Brilliant medium straw. 迷人又刚好的稻草色。

NOSE 气味:Lifted bouquet of nectarines and stone fruits with an underlay of toasty spice. 油桃和核果的芳香,扑鼻而来。

PALATE 口感:The palate has complexity from barrel ferment characters while grapefruit, peach and cashew notes swirl together to give a long flavoursome finish. 十分复杂的橡木桶发酵风味,柚子、桃子和腰果的味道,交织在一起,回味悠长。


WINEMAKING 酿酒

The 2020 Chardonnay fruit was picked in late March. The fruit was chilled and gently pressed to allow minimal phenolic extraction. The juice was transferred directly into French oak barrels and temperature controlled to ensure a slow fermentation process with a selection of cultured yeasts and also natural (wild) yeasts. This allowed for the development of complex flavours and textural weight. Post-fermentation the lees were stirred gently once a week for 4 months until the balance between oak, lees characters and fruit depth was achieved.  2020年的霞多丽果实是在3月底采摘的。果实被冷却轻轻挤压,以允许最小的酚提取。果汁被直接转移到法国橡木桶,且温度控制,以确保缓慢的发酵过程与选择培养酵母和天然酵母。这使得复杂的口味和质地的重量得以发展。发酵后,每周轻轻搅拌一次酒糟,持续4个月,直到达到橡木、酒糟特征和果实深度之间达到平衡。


VINTAGE NOTES 酒窖笔记

The 2020 vintage had a wet winter followed by dry and warm conditions for the start of summer. Some large rain events in February and the resulting cooling meant harvest dates were pushed back a few weeks. This allowed a slow ripening pattern resulting in both red and white grape varieties showing intense colour, aroma and concentrated flavours while achieving desirable tannin ripeness.

2020年经历了一个潮湿的冬季,然后是干燥和温暖的夏季。2月份的一些大型降雨和由此导致的降温,意味着收获日期被推迟了几周。这允许一个缓慢成熟的模式,使红葡萄和白葡萄品种表现出强烈的颜色,香气和浓味,同时实现理想的单宁成熟。
